Sometimes, I want to run away from study.
Some words, however, put off the kind of my mood when I remember them.

Certain person gave me chance to listen a private speech.
The speech is that a Japanese rock star talked about English.
    Of course,he spoke in English.
I had never heard his one until then,
He talked enthusiastically about his plan to debut in America.
He said \”I have to study English.\” at the end of the speech.
The sentence is only one in my memory of the speech clearly.
After I heard the speach, his debut succeeded.
He had sung his song in English.
I pleased to know the success as if it were my own.
I might feel a bond with him.

    Suddenly,He had passed away.
I didn\’t know why it happened.

When his song was played on a radio station,
    it was remembered.
I am not fascinated with him,
but his words give motivation to study.
    I believe it.

    \”I have to study English.\”

The sentence is so simple and clear, moreover it has many meanings.
It might be recall in my future.

Do you have words which give you motivation to learn English?
Please write it down this thread for us If you have some.
    I want to know yours.

    Thank you.

【Do you want to improve your English?】
In 1993, Iwas sent to the ELI, Englis Language Institute, of UBC in
Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada as a trainee.

At first, we took paper test to be classified into three classes.
And then, I took a interveiw test. The interviewer asked me \”Do
you want to improve your English?\”

Actually, I didn\’t know the word \”improve\”. Of course he explained
other words, so I understood the word. From then, I always want to
    IMPROVE my English.

    \”I have a dream–\”
Martin Luther King Jr. said that.
The sentence is one of the highlights of his speech.
    His speech is famous in Japan as well as America;
    however,I had never listened that.
    Today,I finaly listened his speech.
He frequently said that \”I have a dream–\”.
The sentence in his speech gives me a new power.
I promise that I will finish making a report for credits today.
    I have a dream, too.

Did you watch a TV program
which is \”Eigo de shabera night\”yesterday?
Recently,I continually watch it every Monday.
I like a part of the program which is \”Packen Eiken.\”
A English host of the program gives
quiz of English words to Japanese panelists.
Audiences can think the answer of the quiz with them.
    Absolutely,I always think the answer before they reply;
however, The quiz is so difficult this time.
If you like English or have to learn English
    you should watch it.
    That is interesiting.

I got a good sentence which a guest of the program said yesterday.
    \”I\’m better than before\”

I\’m getting better than I used to be.
