however, I will suggest that we show our New Year resolutions
in English here.
If the topic is fixed, it is rather easy to express your intention
in English.

My New Year resolution: I will take every exam this year.

Of course my English skills are absolutely poor,
but that will do for such a limited topic.

As a student: brushing up English and enjoy many kinds of arts.
As a housewife: cleaning up whole my house and make it up elegantly♡

It was really good for me majoring Japanese literature.

For a long time, I\’ve been so bored by this subject and
I couldn\’t be able to like that.

I\’ve found a good study-aid book of English grammar named
\”Heart de Oboeru Eibunpo\” in the thred for getting over English.
I\’ve lost no time in ordering it by AMAZON.

Went to Mita Media Center to concentrate to English1.
Afterwards, went to shoping at Shibuya.
Tomorrow, my husband\’s having a match of wrestling.
Now I\’m so excited!!

Good morning.
I went to Kawasaki-daishi which is famous as a temple of a good luck charm in Japan yesterday. Because I am 41years old, which is told as an unluck year, I need to do a good luck charm.

Because hatsumoude season, a New Year\’s visit to a Shinto shrine and temple, was over, I thought there were not so many people in Kawasaki-daishi. But when I arrived, Kawasaki-daishi was crowded very much and it took more than two hours to get goma.

Since last November, I\’ve been reading a nobel, \”Memoires of Geisha\”,
both in Japanese and English at once.
This novel is writen by American auther though,
I think it is almost Japanese literature.
If there is anybody who read this interesting nobel,
I would like to talk each other about it.

About Geisha Story……
One of my friend (I don(t want to say she is my friend. Anyway,) explained to foreigners,
\”Geisha is prostitute.\” They say, \” Really? I didn\’t think so.\”\”YES! Geisha is prostitute.\”
She insist it.

The foreigner asked me, \”Is Geisha prostitute?\”
I answered,\”No, They are NOT! They are entertainers.\” They said, \”I thought so.\”

She still said, \”They are prostitute. They have Danna-san. They were sold when they were younger.\”
She is totally misunderstanding.

Finally she said, \”Maybe, I was wrong.\”
She should study and get true information. She had been insist more than 5 years for it.
She has a lot of time to study. She really likes North American continent. She wants to stay closer with them.
She should know more her own country.

Sorry, I am little bit angry with this story at the moment.
I wanted to tell anybody else.

Ordinary, Geisha is entertainer, and prostitute is another thing.
However many people misunderstand that both is same.
I think we all Japanese have to learn about our own country more.
Then, I\’m studying in university now.

I\’ve got a kind of net-friend who is a native speaker live in Japan.
One of my Nif-kei friends introduce her to me.
